How much is this program going to cost me?

Hey. Elissa, I’ve got a new program. Really excited about it! We’ve put a lot of money behind it though so it’s really got to go well. I’m starting to get worried about the cost. How much is this program really going to cost me?

This is a great question. Congratulations on your cool new program!

I work with clients who spend at least $100,000 on their programs and often more then $1M, $10M and more to start a new program or product. That’s usually because they are in a big organization and start up in a big organization looks a lot like a big organization to start with.

When you’re spending this much, the key to keeping your costs in line is speed to results.

You want to build your plan to generate leaps forward every 90 days to financial sustainability and to the point where your product pays for itself. In the beginning you’re spending more and more every day to get to the point where your business model starts to pay off, at which point your product starts to cost you less and less every day to the point where you get to zero.

When you get to the point of zero, whether you’re spending $100,000 or $100,000,000 your program is essentially free to run and you’re welcome to now innovate on it, make it better, and get those profitability and impact targets you’re after.

This 90 day results cycle is a great way to advance your product while still making sure your investment makes sense.

If you’d like some help getting your own 90 day results cycle in place, I can help. Get it touch.
